PSALM 139 — the favorite scripture of owner, Karen Ingraham
You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
"How precious are Thy thoughts of me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand."
About 10 years ago, My husband and I left our home of more than 40 years in Southern California and said goodbye to our two grown children and a perfect little grandson. Driving away from our family was the hardest thing we had ever done, but God had a plan for us on the plains of Wyoming with no family or friends nearby.
My husband, Bill, had gotten a job as the fire chief at a refinery in Cheyenne. In California, I had been an active tennis player and ran a tennis league. I continued to play tennis in my new home, but it wasn't enough. Remembering I had made grapevine wreaths back in California, I started making them in my new home. I made large teacup wreaths and sold my first one! Since then, I've opened our store, where I sell vintage items and have even branched out into furniture making. I enjoy meeting people as they travel about and buy antiques.
Now, 10 years later, our daughter and perfect big grandson, as well as our son and daughter-in-law with two small boys and a daughter, live in Colorado. God is good! Who would have thought I could have brought a little California shabby style to the great cowboy state of Wyoming? Contact us today!
Update to our location. We closed the store in Cheyenne, Wyoming and now live in Mineral Bluff, Georgia. Right now we are only online, but in future we hope to have a new location.
